We are looking for a Treasury Back Office Specialist to join our Gdansk office. 

The Treasury Back Office Specialist will be a main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding treasury operations, assisting in preparing documentation related to all aspects of the cash management function. This includes working with banks to meet KYC requirements in opening and closing bank accounts, updating new signatories and all other related services.

In addition, the Treasury Back Office Specialist will be responsible to administer online banking portals as well as treasury systems and she/he will have oversight of related controls.

Individual contributions and working as a team across functions is critical in carrying out day to day responsibilities. The Treasury team is a key filter for new finance talent and a source of candidates for other finance openings across the firm; consequently, continuous maintenance, development, and rotation of a team of highly capable individuals are a key talent management priority.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Treasury Back Office Specialist, you will:

• Work with banks as main point of contact to open, close, or make changes to bank accounts
• Prepare all bank correspondence and related documentation
• Participate in regular calls and track the status of bank account maintenance and new bank account openings - keep colleagues updated on progress
• Complete paperwork and liaise with legal teams to update signatories with banks
• Maintain bank account database of bank account and signatory information
• Act as process owner for administration and maintenance of treasury systems and banking portals
• Assist in year end audit of bank account balances
• Coordinate the issuance of bank guarantees including agreement of wording, obtaining approvals, and preparing documentation
• Review and approve Treasury payments in banking portals and Treasury Management System
• Perform and review to ensure compliance with monthly, quarterly, and yearly Sox controls
• Assist in process improvement and automation projects
• Ad-hoc tasks and initiatives

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Treasury Back Office Specialist if your background includes:

• Experience with bank account administration in a treasury back office function
• Experience in managing relationships with external stakeholders
• Excellent communication (written and oral) skills with an ability to express themselves clearly and effectively  
• Highly motivated individual with ability to take initiative in a challenging and dynamic environment
• Affinity for treasury systems and banking platforms (experience with FIS Integrity would be advantageous)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• The candidate has a high level of organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize work 
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
