• Preparation and review of accounting entries prepared by SSC and assistance/review of standard accounting tasks,
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close,
• Preparation of the annual accounts,
• Liaise with internal, external, and tax auditors,
• Preparation/review on a monthly basis of balance sheet reconciliations,
• Makes (incidental) wire transfers, (assist in) journal and reconciling monthly bank statements,
• Timely and accurate preparation of VAT returns,
• Overseeing the Accounts Payable and T&E processing for Poland,
• Preparation of the monthly management pack,
• Monthly analysis and reporting on the fluctuations of the P&L and BS,
• Analyze and improve the financial processes within the organization,
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures,
• Perform additional administrative and other assignments in accordance with controller’s direction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance,
• At least 6 years of experience within a financial environment (preferably a multinational environment),
• Language skills: fluent written and spoken English & Polish is essential;
• Computer literate, especially MS Excel and People Soft / Hyperion preferable,
• Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles skills,
• Good communication skills,
• Team player,
• Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload,
• Ability to meet constant deadlines,
• Proactive approach to work to constantly improve internal processes,
